Introducing optimiseQED

What does it do?

optimiseQED allows you to forecast the impact of your marketing and media plans and optimise your media spend. Once you have created a model in modelQED you can use optimiseQED to:

  1. Forecast the impact of media and marketing plans
  2. Compare the likely outcome of different marketing plans
  3. Determine what size budget is required to meet your sales target
  4. Determine the optimal budget allocation

How does it work?

There are two key inputs that are required for optimiseQED. These are:

  1. Your marketing mix models (ideally from modelQED)
  2. Your media and marketing plans

optimiseQED runs a mathematical optimisation to find the best budget allocation. The optimisations can be made more realistic by adding business constraints to reflect budget that has already been committed or industry norms (e.g. min & max level of GRPs)

Who is it for?

optimiseQED is for any business that wants to:

  1. Ensure that its media and marketing budget is being allocated in the best way possible
  2. Determine if the marketing plan will achieve the targeted level of sales, and if not, is the target achievable and how much additional budget is required
